I wonder what would happen if a man wrote an article like this.

So now I have a new business idea. God I hope things come together soon. It feels like every couple weeks I have a whole new plan, which inevitably falls apart. Hope things come together soon. MBA, business idea, government job...any of these would be nice. It's just taking forever to figure this stuff out and in the mean time I feel like I'm in limbo while everyone else (seemingly) is figuring out what they want to do with their life. I just hate this waiting.

The new business idea seems to have a greater chance of success than the old one. Plus I have a friend that's the nephew of the owner of the company...so hopefully nepotism opens some doors = P

Took my parents to the airport today. They're going to Yellowstone for a week with some friends.

ugghhh. My parents are so insane. I just got lectured because I took a book out from the library and waited until the day it was due before taking it back. "What if you had forgotten?!?" um...I'd pay a $.05 fine. OMGZ!!! Fucking get a perspective on things.

Interview for a marketing job on Thursday. It sounds really cool. They're interested in putting me in their management training program, so it sounds like there is a lot of room for upward movement in the organization.

Signed up for the State Department exam in October. Also applying to lots of jobs in China.

"It is proven that the celebration of birthdays is healthy. Statistics show that those people who celebrate the most birthdays become the oldest." -- S. den Hartog, Ph D. Thesis Universtity of Groningen.

So anyway, things have been going alright I guess. Still waiting to hear back about jobs here in the States...but I have been working on business plans for China as an alternative. Getting some serious work done on that front. Looks like we have a US company willing to finance and give us free equipment if we can find a suitable facility in Beijing. Sweeeet!!

starting to think more and more about getting involved in international business. Maybe I'll get an MBA, if I don't get one of the jobs I've applied for soon...

So here is my alternative plan...Teach English in China for a year---> start own business/or get MBA

While I'm in China, I can improve my Chinese, which would be huge for international business. Sweeeet!

Few business ideas that I have high hopes for. Pretty optimistic right now. = )

现在我要很好的工作! 如果我不可以找, 然后我回来中国, 开公司。 我有很多打算。 下周末我和朋友们喝很多啤酒, 哈哈。 今星期我很忙。

God I wish I would just hear back from these jobs I applied for already. The waiting is the worst part. If they don't want me, fine, I have alternative plans. But I can't act until I hear back. Ideally I will get one of the jobs...but if not, then I really want to go back to China for a year or so. Teach English, save some money, improve my Chinese, and make business contacts (I already have a few). Then when I get back, I can get an MBA at College Park.

That is the alternative plan, and I am pretty happy with it. But it would be even nicer if I just get one of these jobs...but they are with the government and it will probably be at least another few months before I hear back...

Either way, I think I will be happy. In the mean time it looks like I will just be taking Business and Chinese classes and volunteer at the library's literacy program (I have been assigned to help this Chinese guy learn English. I'll be starting there in a couple weeks, after I complete orientation). I've also been reading a lot about Chinese politics and history.

God I hope I hear back soon!

Oh, and today I was going to hang out with Braxton, but then he sent me a message that he's sick. Hopefully nothing too serious. I was looking forward to hanging out and telling him stories about my time in China. Oh well, I'm sure we'll hang out later on sometime.
